AUSTIN, Texas – Six members of the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America® Division I Men’s Basketball Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) will be competing in this year’s NCAA tournament.

Tennis great Andre Agassi recipient of 2015 Dick Enberg Award

The award is presented annually at the CoSIDA Convention to a person whose actions and commitment have furthered the meaning and reach of the Academic All-America® Teams Program and/or the student-athlete while promoting the values of education and academics.

Andre Agassi, whose 20-year Hall of Fame career made him an icon in American men’s tennis, has been named as the recipient of the 2015 Dick Enberg Award which is presented by CoSIDA.

Ashley Luke of Western Illinois, Matt Townsend of Yale Headline Capital One Academic All-America® Division I Basketball Teams

AUSTIN, Texas – Graduate student Ashley Luke of Western Illinois University and senior Matt Townsend of Yale University headline the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America® Division I basketball teams as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Luke has been selected as the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America® of the Year for Division I Women’s Basketball while Townsend has been named the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America® of the Year for Division I Men’s Basketball.

AUSTIN, TEXAS – Senior guards Suzanna Ohlsen of Seattle Pacific University and Trey Casey of Christian Brothers University top the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America® Division II basketball teams as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Ohlsen has been selected as the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America® of the Year for Division II Women’s Basketball while Casey has been named the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America® of the Year for Division II Men’s Basketball.

John Coleman of Clarkson, Heather Johns of Whitman Headline Capital One Academic All-America® Division III Basketball Teams

AUSTIN, Texas – Senior forward John Coleman of Clarkson University and senior guard Heather Johns of Whitman College highlight the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America® Division III Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams as released Tuesday by Capital One and the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Coleman and Johns have been chosen as the Capital One Academic All-America® of the Year honorees for the men’s and women’s basketball teams, respectively.

The Capital One College Division Academic All-America® basketball teams include student-athletes from NAIA, Canadian and two-year institutions.

The 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-District ® Women’s Basketball Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, have been released to recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.   Capital One has been the entitlement rights holder to CoSIDA’s Academic All-America teams programs since 2011.

Krista Vansant Of Washington Headlines Capital One Academic All-America® Division I Volleyball Team

AUSTIN, TEXAS – University of Washington senior Krista Vansant leads the Capital One Academic All- America® Division I volleyball team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Vansant, who majors in sociology with a 3.30 G.P.A., is the winner of the Academic All-America® of the Year award for Division I volleyball.
